    3. Hi Paula, I did spot Pair 1 when I started looking into the connection and you're right - I can't discount them with the information I have. Pair 2 is slightly more likely due to William being a boarder in Foulmire on the 1861 census. Also, William died in 1884 so that would also support Esther being a Widow on the 1891 census.
