I have a William Chapman on my tree (Maternal side). Born 1840 in Dry Drayton. I have him living with his parents Francis and Elizabeth in the 1841 census. In the 1851 and 1861 census, still in Dry Drayton, there is just Elizabeth so appears Francis died between 1841 and 1851. In the 1871 census I have him living with a Charlotte (born 1847 in Dry Drayton) plus children. By the time of the 1881 census they have moved to Barrington. The problem is I can't find any marriage for William and Charlotte. I have found a Charlotte Kester (born 1847 in Dry Drayton) in the 1851 census living with her parents James and Susan. By the 1861 census Susan is shown as a Widow and publican at the Prince of Wales, Dry Drayton. Any suggestions on where to look/search would be appreciated. I live in North Yorkshire, but will be coming down to the Cambridge area in mid May so I can do local searches then. Many thanks Keith Hughes. -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
