Many, if not all, of the cottages still stand and are located on we locals call the Barton Road (the A603). They are quite handsome in a Victorian style, which is not to the liking of everyone. Jeanette - Just to confirm - all the original cottages are all still standing on the north side of Cambridge Road (the A603) in Wimpole. The village officially dropped the "New" in 1999.
