Hello Listers, I have an interest in Hilton Village, with two main branches of my family tree coming from there - being the STARLING and BEDFORD family. This is really just to let you know that an Archive has been established for Hilton village at this website: http://www.hilton-village.com/content/view/825/988/ All of it is freely available and is of (in my opinion) a very high quality. As well as many, many photographs of the village, its buildings and its inhabitants, there are old maps, documents and gravestone inscriptions to be found within its digital archives. Hopefully there will be something of interest to any researchers with connections to this village and if anyone has anything they wish to add, I'm sure it will all be gratefully received by the Archivists.
