    3. Hi, I wonder if anyone has access to the Cambridge Burial records, that might do a look up for me, please? I have a George Fortescue ALSTON, born c 1830 and Chr. 1st January 1831 in Layham, Suffolk. But his family were living in Cambridge by 1832, where his brother Edward Graham ALSTON was born on 6th September 1832. I have no Chr. date for Edward. Nothing has been heard of George since this time, and I believe he died as a infant. The family were living in Dublin by October 1834. In March 1834 George's father - (also a) George ALSTON (his mother Anne) "was indicted for an assault on his son, aged 3 years and pleaded guilty". I have searched Suffolk Burial Registers, and the Census from 1841 onwards, all to no avail. This boy would have been my Great Great Uncle! Regards, Susan, Victoria, Australia.
