    3. This John Jaggard is my 5x gt grand.... I do not think Elizabeth Smee was his second wife as a burial in Wood Ditton gives - 29 June 1795 DEAVE John of Kirtling a married man son of late WILLIAM and Elizabeth late BROWN wid heretofore SMEE 23 Feb 1759 William Deave bac married Elizabeth Browne wid at Stetchworth (botp) they had a son John 20 May 1759 bapt at Stetchworth and a daughter, Ann baptised 18.6.1762 at Wood Ditton. There are previous baptisms for a William Deave & Elizabeth in 1749(Elizabeth), 1752(Dennis(female)) and 1754(William) all Wood Ditton so it gets a bit confusing - Ann may belong to the other pair. Elizabeth Deave (Brown/Smee) was buried 26 Nov 1777 at Stetchworth, wife of William, yeoman and on 3 Apr 1797 William Deave of Tuddenham Suffolk, Yeoman was buried. I think it was Elizabeth Browne nee HUBBARD he married in 28.11.1762 - Elizabeth married William Brown 28.10.1755 in Dullingham and he died July 1759. Elizabeth was the daughter of John Hubbard and Anne Egerton. Hope this helps - or it may not!!!
