So very sorry. My house (and comp) burnt to the ground, also lost paper files, 3 dogs and 2 cats, no people. Will never post here again, with the exception of a lady, and Nivard Ovington, who were quite helpful, as well as polite, (unlike some un-named "gentleman") I found David to be quite rude. So very sorry to have inconvienced you, David. I was under the impression that Englishmen (ladies) were polite and us Americans were the rude ones. Apparently, you shouldn't believe that everything you hear as true. Jolly good, David. --- On Wed, 6/24/09, David <david11000carca@yahoo.fr> wrote: From: David <david11000carca@yahoo.fr> Subject: [ENG-CAMS] Re : Edward TRIMMER married to Sara(h) FRANCE To: eng-cambridgeshire@rootsweb.com Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2009, 8:59 AM Haven't you asked the same question on this board almost annually for the past four years and have been given the same answer almost annually for the same length of time? You've been told they were married in Shrewsbury See http://archiver.rootsweb.ancestry.com/th/read/eng-cambridgeshire/2008-08/1219295742 But you told us yourself in 2005 that they were married at St Chads Shrewsbury. Why are now suggesting they were married in Islington? You can find the marriage yourself again on the IGI on www.familysearch.org Why not simply post on the Shropshire board, stating they were married in Shrewsbury in 1801 and asking if anyone has access to the parish register to see if Edward's occupation was given (it wasn't always provided)? If no-one has access to the parish register you could always order and view it yourself at your nearest LDS Family History Center of which there are many in the USA - see www.familysearch.org for a full list Islington is in London, 57 miles south of Cambridge Shrewsbury is 142 miles west of Cambridge Islington is 159 miles SE of Shrewsbury Or so Googlemaps on http://maps.google.co.uk/ says David --- En date de : Mer 24.6.09, georgia de salvo <redheadedwitch6969@yahoo.com> a écrit : > De: georgia de salvo <redheadedwitch6969@yahoo.com> > Objet: [ENG-CAMS] Edward TRIMMER married to Sara(h) FRANCE > À: eng-cambridgeshire-l@rootsweb.com > Date: Mercredi 24 Juin 2009, 10h15 > I'm not sure if this is right list. > Does this list include Islington?
