This is a bit of a long shot, but if anyone has a copy of the transcript of Barrington parish registers, please could they check for the baptism of Robert SPARROW in the 1570s or early 1580s. My Robert SPARROW married Agnes TYE in Weston Colville in 1604 and lived in West Wratting. His eldest son was called Alexander, and I note that an Alexander SPARROW of Barrington left a will in 1617 so I'm wondering if he might be his father. Many thanks for your help. Ruth

There are no SPARROW baptisms at all in the Barrington PR's. The only SPARROW's showing in the PR's are burial of Alexander in 1617, and of Elizabeth, widow, in 1626. Best wishes, Julia
