HIi List, I am new to your list but not to lists in general. I am looking for descendants of THOMAS H. BOTTOM and ELIZABETH HIBBETT married in Rutland 1857, but had a large family in Wisbech where Thomas worked for the railways as did a number of sons and grandsons. Thomas was a brother of my great grandfather. Any connections to this family would be great. Daphne New Zealand. I did try the Wisbech list but it seems to be very quiet.
Hello to all the Hibbitts/Hibbetts in the Rutland - Oakham area. I have just discovered this site and found quite a few folk doing research on the Hibbitt name. My maiden name was Hibbett but believe I am descended from a George Luke Hibbitt (spelling changed somewhere)born c.1844 married to Rachel Branton in Pinchbeck Church 1869 and he died at 27 in 1872 in Kensington District after fathering one son, Ernest Branton Hibbett. I am sure I am related to the Hibbitts in that area and if anyone has any information on George Luke I would be most grateful.
