I and others did a lot of work on this a year ago at http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,367587.0.html What did the Littleport Society have to say? Did you purchase the death certificate of the William Benedick Flowers in Cornwall? Did you follow up on the Charles Cornwall born at the right time in Littleort? In the early days of civil registration many births weren't registered so it might be the case that there isn't a birth certificate David --- En date de : Jeu 18.2.10, jacquie cook <jacquie.cook@xtra.co.nz> a écrit : > De: jacquie cook <jacquie.cook@xtra.co.nz> > Objet: [ENG-CAMS] help > À: ENG-CAMBRIDGESHIRE@rootsweb.com > Date: Jeudi 18 février 2010, 2h53 > Hi. Hi I contacted the Littleport Society a couple of times but never really got a reply from him. The couple i did get was to say he had been on holiday and come home to so many emails etc. I have been trying to find the right place to get Charles and Rachel marriage certificate to see if that has some answers but i am not sure how i go about that. As far as getting the death certificate i figured that if he diappeared from the clergy list then he must have left the contry. And with the age of William it doesnt really tie in either.
