I have looked on IGI, and Hugh Wallis and find very little information on them. Advice please on how to go back. Is there Parish Registers not transcribed which I can ask for at my local LDS centre, or is it a visit to the archives, and if so which ones, Newmarket, Cambridge, Ely??? Her father was John WILKINSON and I am trying to identify her mother. (There is an older child, Martha, born abt 1869 but not in March - if she turns up the information might be just as useful.) In 1861 John WILKINSON was still single, I cannot find any of the family in the 1871 census, and by 1881 John was a widower in Doddington Workhouse, along with the three children that I have been able to identify. Search of BMD marriages and deaths has not produced any strong clues.
