Dear Lynn Yes, I have looked into those census at that website but I was after the full details (whom was living with who and what there occupations were) without having to order anything. The 1841 census didn't have 2 of the daughters on it. Namely Mary Ann and 'Hannah'. The baptisms, deaths and Marriages were of some help. Anyways thanks for your reply and I'll have to keep hunting. Hello Listers, I have this entry in my ancestry and wonder if there are any people out there from the MEADOWS or CHAMBERLAIN families who heard of this couple in their ancestry, Ann Meadows married to William Chamberlain on 22.10.1807 at Thorney, Cambs. I am trying to trace where they came from prior to Thorney. Thanks for any assistance. Kind regards, Derek Hindle in Tasmania, Australia..

Could sks tell me whether there is a marriage for a Mary Carter to Peter (or John) Peters in Welney Parish records 22 November 1813. This was subsequently proved to be a bigamist marriage and I would love to know the full entry. Any help appreciated. Pam Wright, West Sussex.
Hi All Could some one please tell me what is on the early censuses, or are they just a list of surnames I know they can vary from place to place. I have found 2 references to the name TEESON on the Cambridge St Mary's the Great list, 1 in 1801 and 1 in 1811. I am trying to see if they have any connection to the HUNT, JOHN, or MADDOX families. I am looking for a connection between a bride and groom, JOHN and HUNT, in Stoke Newington in 1811, and their witnesses. Am going by a rather convolvulated route but have been very lucky so far in proving the IGI correct. Unfortunately it does not have any more answers. Happy hunting Beth in Toronto
Hi all I am hoping some kind soul can look up this family: William and Mary/Mary Ann Topp had at least the following children that I know about in Ely. Hannah (could be called Georgina) Hall she married George King and had a daughter by the name of Georgiana (whom could be called Hannah - confused yet). Georgiana was born in 1843 at St Ives. Hannah the mother should have been born in Ely. Georgiana immigrated with her Aunt and Uncle Murfitt to NZ so I presume she became an orphan. She may or may not be with her parents. She immigrated in 1858. Her father George was a property owner. Henry Topp married Phoebe Pope and should have the following children by the 1851 census. Emma whom would only be a couple of months old. Mary Ann Topp married John Murfitt and by the 1851 census should have Sarah Elizabeth, Sarah Jane (I presume the elder Sarah died) & Ellen with them.
