Barnes, aged 10 - Oxford Terrace, Great Marlow George BARNES Head unm 20 b Marlow Cordwainer 3 brothers all born Marlow - R. 16 Tailor App. J. 14 Cordwainer/Servant E. 10 Scholar The only Richard Barnes is aged 15, living in Aylesbury, but FreeBMD shows two Richards dying in Wycombe district in the right time - Dec 1841 & Mar 1843. There are also 5 named female Barnes deaths on FreeBMD, plus one "female", which is probably a newborn, not yet named. There's a matching birth with no name. It looks as if the boys lost their parents between 1841 & 1851, & their father was probably one of the Richards. I think what you need is to find them in the 1841 census. Now you know the older brothers, it should be possible to identify the family. Paul
