Wendy List admin ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hi listers This year's Open Day of the Oxfordshire FHS will be held at the society's usual meeting venue at the Exeter Hall, Oxford Road, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 1AB on Saturday next 25 September 2004. As usual it will run from 10am to 4pm. The Open Day will feature the usual assortment of visiting societies, dealers in second hand books and postcards, sales of microfiche readers and the like. Our own Society's library and search services will be available for consultation, whilst we will also be manning a beginners' helpdesk. Additionally, there will be computing demonstrations, which will give advice on such things as which genealogical software package to choose, and the use of the internet in family history. Admission to the Open Day is free, whilst light refreshment will be on sale at reasonable prices. There is adequate free car parking on site.
