I am looking for any information on the family of my g2 grandfather Thomas LEIGHTON (also spelt LAYTON or LEDEN). By all accounts he was born in Buckingham, Bucks, about 1788. He became a journeyman hatter, which might explain how he came to marry a lass from Staffordshire and eventually settle in Brixham, Devon. If SKS could kindly search any relevant parish registers etc., I would be most grateful.
