But at least you've found it from other sources. That's happened to me, as well - tangential information which tells me what I want to know, such as a brother-in-law visiting whose presence gives away the wifes maiden name, when I was having difficulty finding the marriage record because of wildly variable spelling of the husbands name (would you believe Haraway for Irving?) Paul.
