In January Clive Holden kindly checked Drayton Parslow PRs for Charles BATCHELOR, born ca. 1811, but there was no corresponding entry. I still haven't found the origins of this ancestor, who lived for a long time in Northchurch, Herts, but mostly gave his origin as Drayton Parslow in censuses. Coming back to this problem, it occurs to me that Drayton Beauchamp is closer to Herts, and wondered if someone with access to relevant PRs could check for me, in case of 19th C memory failures!
