The further back we go in our GARDNER (sometimes GARDENER or GARDINER) family the further west the seem to be, a few miles with each generation. I'm now looking at Thomas baptised Horton, Bucks.24 November 1815, together with his siblings and parents. We have a lot of info on the siblings, but some confusion about the parents. His father was also Thomas, and mother was a Mary, but it is not clear whether this was Mary Smith who married a Thomas Gardiner in High Wycombe on 25 Dec 1789 Mary Priscilla Ricket who married a Thomas Gardiner in High Wycombe on 8 Sep 1788.
