Hi All, Havent been on this list for awhile, as I have been away. Posting my interest in JONES. In particular SARAH JONES, born between 1817 -1820. She has me more confused than ever. Here is what I know...... Sarah Jones married Edward Poulton 21 May 1836, St James Clerkenwell, at least one child a daughter born in Essex. Edward Poulton (Carpenter) born abt 1810, died on the 21 July 1840, St James, Clerkenwell. 1844 Sarah has a son Henry William Watson Poulton to William Watson (Labourer) , Southgate Edmonton. 1849 Sarah remarried to John Gray (Brickmaker) at Southgate, Edmonton, then in 1855 immigrated to Australia 1841 Census - St James Clerkenwell, listed as a widow, born Aylesbury 1851 Cenus - Southgate, Edmonton, listed with husband & children, born Cuddington. 1855 shipping index for the Sabrina, listed a born Marsh Gibbon on one section, Aylesbury on another. On her 2nd marriage she lists her father as Joseph Jones Farmer. as she does on the shipping index. I have tried locating her birth in Marsh Gibbon, there is a match, but I dont think it is her. I thought she may have been the daughter of Jospeh Jones & Sarah Slade. If any one has any idea's where to look in Cuddington, as I think this is more likely as a lot of information states Aylesbury, Cuddington being closer to here, rather than Marsh Gibbon.
