Hello Everyone, Further to my email yesterday (see below), I received a mail informing that Alfred's parents were possibly Thomas & Hannah Hawley of Great Linford. I would be very grateful if SKS could look for Thomas and Hannah in the 1841 census to confirm if Alfred - aged 8 is with them?. and..I would like to know anyone shares an interest in the Hawleys. Alfred's son, Alfred Ernest Hawley was the founder of the nationally famous company of Sketchley (the dry cleaners) and was a great benefactor to Leicester, and Hinckley, Leicestershire - where he was responsible for doubling the size of the town.
