A marriage & name change for her would suffice. And don't get her mixed up with the other unmarried Jane WINGROVEs - aged 21 in Chesham, 27 in Amersham or 17 in Tylers Green. They're all over the place! The BGS 1861 census is out soon. That may help. It may show Cornelius widowed or remarried. Paul
