    1. Help with elusive marriage date
    2. elista
    3. Hello, I'm just new to the list and am trying to find a marriage date for a James JAKES / JAQUES and a Mary Ann Edwards. James came from Biggleswade, Bedfordshire and Mary Ann from Feltwell, Norfolk. They married sometime in 1851 or 1852. They are found in Barking, Essex on all the censuses after 1851. I have had no luck in finding a marriage record for them. When I looked on the 1861 census, it lists their first born daughter as being born in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire, so I was thinking maybe they were married there, instead of where they came from, or in Essex. Any help or suggestions on how I can find this elusive marriage record would be gratefully apprecaited. Sincerely, Judy, from Alberta, Canada [email protected]
