Helen There is a S. E. Payne-Gill in Burnham, Slough (postcode search on the BT site SL), Slough used to be in Bucks before it was moved to Berkshire and Stoke Poges is just north of Slough. Please note that the BT search will only find BT customers that are not Ex directory, a better search could be made using the electoral registers for the area if they are available. Perhaps someone on the list has access to the 1984/5 Electoral Registers for the area? I found the following in the 2003 UK Electoral Register at www.192.com (don't seem to be many around!).
