    3. I am getting some e-mail which shows the subject line as [ENG-BKM], and others which show [ENG-BUCK]. If we are all using the same system why is this occuring? I would have thought that there would be consistency, and am very worried about "other" things arriving. Michael Brock Mem B576

    3. Michael, It's because you belong to two out of the three Bucks lists! 3. Greg Thanks for the news. Do you have any idea why I would be on 2 of the 3 Bucks lists? Should I be on the 3rd one also? What is the differences between them, and what dictates which ones I am "on"? 3. Hello Michael - You asked: > I am getting some e-mail which shows the subject line as [ENG-BKM], and others which show [ENG-BUCK]. If we are all using the same system why is this occuring? I would have thought that there would be consistency, and am very worried about "other" things arriving. I'm sorry, but the answer given by Greg is incorrect - unusual for Greg though that is! I think I'm probably the best person to know :-) There are actually 3 open lists for Buckinghamshire. The first to be formed was [email protected] . The list is jointly administered by Judith Young & Dave Carlsen. Posts to that list have the prefix [BKM] The second to be formed was this one, [email protected] . As Greg hinted, its formation related to personalities on the first list. That is now in the past of both lists. That list has the prefix [ENG-BUCK]. The third open list is on a different mailing list system, not RootsWeb, and has the prefix [ENG-BKM] I am list admin of the latter two lists, and it is these two to which you refer - and, having checked, you are indeed subscribed to both of them. Many subscribers are on more than one of the lists. If you would like help with your subscription status, you're welcome to contact me off-list. Wendy List admin [email protected]

    3. Wendy Thanks for the answer. It is not a problem, but as I have set my Outlook Express to sort incoming e-mails, I was surprised to find some falling outside the parameters. Now I shall adjust my settings to get both. Thanks again Michael ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wendy Archer" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, August 24, 2004 4:53 AM Subject: Re: [ENG-BUCK] SECURITY > Hello Michael - > > You asked: > > > I am getting some e-mail which shows the subject line as [ENG-BKM], and > others which show [ENG-BUCK].
