Hi I am new to this list and I am researching the Willett/Willott side of my family tree. From the little information I have at this time the family was centred around Aston Sandford/Long Crendon/Haddenham. Is anyone else on the list researching the Willet family or this particular area. My great great grandfather Henry Willott married Sarah Tayler in Long Crendon in 1802. I only know of four of their children as there are huge gaps in the ages of the children I am presuming there were more of them. Abraham c1804 Haddenham Susanna c1806 Jonathan c1821 Jabez c1828 Henry died 1840 aged 53 in Aston Sandford, Sarah living with Abraham on 1851 census died in 1855 aged abt 79 years, Lacey Green, Princes Risborough. Jonathan with a wife Jane and two sons immigrated to Australia 1853, Jabez in 1851. Apparently Jonathan returned to England abt 1887 and died there 1892. Four of his children remained in Australia. Jabez is my g grandfather and I have details of him and his family here in Australia. Jabez is the only one so far that had his name spelt Willett not Willott. If anyone can help me with any information I would greatly appreciate. Cheryl
