Hello I am looking for any JARVIS family that lived in Eton, Buckinghamshire, England during the 1700's- 1850's. Other possible towns during this time frame with connections are: Sunninghill, Berkshire/ Warfield, Berkshire/ Amersham, Buckinghamshire/ Egham, Surrey/ In particular, Edward Jarvis born abt 1719 of Eton and married to Elizabeth Poet in Jan 1847 in Eton. Does anyone have a documented list of their children that may have been born in Eton ? Would you be willing to share that info ? I am also looking for information on a possible son of Edward and Elizabeth, John Jarvis born abt 1763 and married to Ann Mist in Sunninghill, Berkshire on 23 Aug 1789. John was a poulterer in the village of Eton in the 1798 Posse Comitatus census. John and Ann had 10 children that I know of. I only have information on one of their son's my 4x great grandfather, Edward Jarvis born in 1795 in Eton. He came to the US in 1814 and resided in Maine and died there having been a Currier, and marrying to Catharine Millay in 1816. I would really like to continue my JARVIS family roots in England.
