Thanks Lynn for your help. Unfortunately I still haven't managed her father's first name or her mother's name. I think that her marriage certificate will hold these details as soon as I can locate it. I had three children already to John and Mary Ann MURRY. These were Charles Alfred, Walter John and Albert Edward Murry and all were born in Queensland. Charles Alfred MURRY is my husband's Great Grandfather and lived in Gatton QLD. John Murry's death certificate listed an additional three children - Sarah Jane, Lucy Janet Frith and Maria Ann. I haven't managed to find any birth records for the three of them yet though have found marriage records for two of them in QLD. Maria Ann is listed on the death certificate as the eldest child living (aged 15 yrs in 1877). Also on the death certificate was listed ` Three Males, 1 Female - Dead'. I haven't found these records yet (providing they were registered). Considering John and Mary married in 1850 and the first recorded birth I have in QLD is 1864, I am wondering if the children were born in England and then deceased. The other option I have to explore is perhaps they came to Australia sometime after 1850 and setttled elsewhere in Australia prior to moving to Queensland. One lister privately e-mailed me and said she found an E John Murry born approx 1820 wife a wife Mary Ann at Middlesex on the 1851 Ancestry.com index which I will need to check out, plus the 1841 index for John.
