Hi Everyone I hope someone may be able to shed some light on an ancestor MARY MALLIN head of houshold and JOHN MALLIN son who are on the 1851 census living in Portway ROWLEY REGIS. Two of the other people listed at this address were JOHN REDFERN and ELIZABETH BROWN who were listed as INMATES. Does anyone know what sort of inmate? or what it might mean. All the best Dave
