All your comments are very much appreciated and it would appear that FamilyRelatives seems to score better than other sites for 1866-1920 entries, and also the mother's maiden name facility between 1911 and 1920 seems to be very useful. But maybe Ancestry is the best all round site. So I will seriously consider whether or not to take out a subscription to FamilyRelatives. Many thanks to you again for your input.
