Hi Martin Thanks for replying. I receive mail from Black Country List in digest mode, & in Outlook Express, when I opened the mail there was a list of attached messages just below the subject line. In Outlook (2000), there are a row of envelopes at the very bottom of the screen (easily overlooked if from an individual rather than a mailing list) - it even seems to be giving me envelopes with attachments from individuals saying "Checked by AVG - no virus". In Express it just printed it at the bottom of the E mail.
