My roll call is in part : GILL I have Mirah Gill who married Benjamin Thompson at The Parish Church Oldswinford 21.10.1863. Her father was Henry Gill - Engineer. Witness Sarah Jane Cornforth. I am looking for Mirah's line. I am also looking for Thompson, but will circulate the info that I have later. Family legend says Henry was a brass Founderer later on. No data. NORWOOD. I have Phoebe Norwood who was married Joseph Hickman (House painter) Wordesley 16.7.1871 d 23.8.1929. Phoebe could not write and left her mark on the Birth Certificate of Florence Augusta, one of her daughters. Florence was born in Brockmoor on 19.11.1874 . I have Phoebe's father Joseph Merrian Norwood b circa 1823 d 25.4.1886 who married Maria WOOD daughter of John WOOD b 1783 buried Brierly Hill Churchyard d 2.12.1856 My notes suggest that William WOOD, Marias elder brother b 1821 made money and ran a transport business including canal barges. The poor don't leave too many footprints, but William might have done. He lived at Brockmoor Cottage, Brockmoor. I am looking for both the NORWOOD and the WOOD lines. I would be grateful if anyone has crossed or followed these lines. Much of these data come from the late Rosemary Tillbrook. I have a lot more, but cant do too much too soon Cheers Roger Thompson
