Hi Gaye & Rat, Thanks for replying to my request about the Boat Builders Arms Pub. Shame its gone. And Phil it would have spiced it up a bit if my gamekeeper ancestor had been a poacher. I would have liked that, but in this case it doesn't fit as the family were too wealthy in their own right. Or they were darn good poachers! Rita
