Hi Life gets complicated does it not, I left Walsall in my mid twenties, and having now lived in Australia for over 40 years I had been bought up to be 1 Not in the Black Country 2 To be a proud South Stafford, in particular the 5th South Staffords which had a high percentage of Walsall men in it. Now I find I'm a Northerner in the West Midlands and of course in the Black Country. I have of course given up on my Walsall accent, after all its difficult to get the Aussies to understand English never mind a Walsall accent.
