Hi Dave I'm responding to the message from Dave Bowater, who indicated that he had an interest in Mallin. My grandfather and great-grandfather were Albert and William Alfred Mallin respectively. William Alfred Mallin, born 16/9/1869, died in about 1903 contracting pneumonia after jumping into a lake to rescue a child who had fallen in. My grandfather, Albert Mallin was about 4 years old at the time. I have also recently found William Alfred Mallin's father - Alfred Mallin who died on 19/4/1879. I have found William Alfred Mallin had siblings: Agnes b. 20/12/1870 Ann Elizabeth b. 2/7/1873 Edwin b. 1/12/1876 John Everard b. 12/10/1878 Do you have connections to any of these people? I have found the family to be quite elusive so far! Annette Mann indicated on 7/3/06 that she is looking for BUSHELL. After my great grandfather's death in 1903 approx. my great grandmother remarried to a Thomas BUSHELL on 16/10/1904 and they subsequently had a child Henry, who was my grandfather's half brother.
