    3. Hi, I've been on the list but haven't contributed for a long time but recently I have found some additional information to my family line. On the 1861 census the Bayley family were apparently farming 100 acres of land listed as being in Oldbury Road to Farley Street comprising of William (head) Hannah (wife) sons William and Samuel Smith Bayley. I knew there was also another son (older) but he doesn't appear with the family!! A couple of weeks ago, I can't remember how I came across it but I have found the older son, Henry James along with two sisters Esther Ann and Martha Jane (who I did not know existed till then). They are listed as "Boarders" (Scholars) at an address of 23 Holly Lane, All Saints, West Bromwich. I have looked at the scanned erumerators details and find the streets around it are All Saints Road? Street, Parsonage Street and an area Lyndon. I take it this is around All Saints Church at the top end of Newton Road. There is no Holly Lane in my A-Z. Is there anyone out there that has any knowledge or information of this 'Boarding School'. Also, try as I might I cannot find the birth of son William Bayley and youngest son, Charles Stephen Bayley. The family moved from Horseley Heath Tipton to the farm sometime between between 1855 and 1861. I have the birth certificates for the three oldest children (1852, 1854 and 1855) and another son born 1860 (Samuel Smith Bayley). William is listed as being born in West Bromwich abt 1858 and Charles Stephen abt 1862, also born West Bromwich). I have been to Register office in West Bromwich but they say they don't have them recorded. I know there is the other spelling of the name as Bailey but every certificate I have obtained from 1852 onwards gives the spelling as Bayley. Any help would be appreciated and I apologise for the length of my epistle but I've been saving this up for a long time and would really love to break this brick wall down. Gloria
