The only reason I have them at all is due to the fact that one of my SKELDING males married Priscilla Plant Hickman. He was a widower and she the widow (the younger one) mentioned. I did no more than find background for Priscilla, tracing her former husband and family. I did find Priscilla on the 1841 census with her Mother, Priscilla Plank, who was already a widow at age 40 (rounded down). However, Ann, Daniel and Thomas are with William and Priscilla SKELDING in the 1871 census; Only Daniel is with them in the 1881 census and in the 1891 census, Thomas Hickman with his wife Elizabeth and son George H. are with Priscilla, who is then a widow.
