Samuel and Martha RASTALL lived all their lives in Broadway, Worcestershire but several of their children moved and put down roots in West Bromwich and Smethwick. Ann 1839 to 1872 had two illegitimate children, one who was born in West Bromwich and Died in Evesham Workhouse and the other, Martha who was born in Evesham Workhouse in 1862 and then moved to West Bromwich. She married William KEYS and became a mother to seven sons. Jane 1830 married James PASSANT in 1857. They lived in West Bromwich. James 1841 married Agnes and they moved between West Bromwich and Smethwick. They had the following children: James Henry 1868 who married Clara ? Alice Sophia 1870 who married Thomas CRUMP in 1890 and had two children, Edward 1892 and Emily 1893 William 1873 who married Florence MORRIS in 1900 and had at least one child, Elsie in 1900.
