    3. Hi Tracy I'm a descendent of the Willenhall Trubshaws! My GG Grandmother was Sarah the sister of John who married Caroline. I have Henry Thomas married to an Emma in 1871 but I don't have a specific date or surname. They had 4 children: Mary Maria 1872, Alice 1874, Emma Gertrude 1876 then John Henry 1879. Emma might have died as I then have Henry Thomas marrying Mary Bell in 1884 and a son Bertram being born in 1887. Please get in touch Tracy, I may have more information somewhere, Judy -----Original Message----- From: Tracy Little [mailto:jandt@cennick.fsnet.co.uk] Sent: 02 April 2006 10:31 To: ENG-BLACK-COUNTRY-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [B.C.] TRUBSHAW in Willenhall Does anyone out there recognise Henry Thomas TRUBSHAW (born abt 1851), son of John and Caroline? According to the 1871 census he is at home with them and unmarried - the census was taken on April 2. However, according to the BMD index he married in the March Quarter of the same year to Emma BASSETT who I think may be the sister of my gg grandmother. On the 1871 census Emma TRUBSHAW is recorded as a servant (married) with another family just round the corner. At the time she was 21 and Henry was only 20. Their first child was born in the September quarter of 1871. At first sight it looks as though Emma got pregnant and Henry married her on the quiet (although her employers obviously knew) but he didn't tell his own parents as he was under age at the time. Any alternative suggestions very welcome! Tracy ==== ENG-BLACK-COUNTRY Mailing List ==== The B.C. List Admin is Dave Ogden :- d.ogden@blueyonder.co.uk
