    2. Marion, Patience is not in the GRO index in London. Perhaps someone could go to the records office in Dudley or one near by and see if they have records which are not in the GRO index. Remember GRO is only an index so may be something miss. check this site you may find something _http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/index.php_ (http://www.ukbmd.org.uk/index.php) if not BMSGH (Birmingham Midland family history Society ) may be able to help. FYI my family from Rowley Regis in 1850's were Baptised at Dudley 'Top Church' so just because your family were from Rowley does not mean their church was there. Sorry just a thought if you cannot find Patience in 1861 census have you found a death? All that I know about her is that she was born in "Dudley" abt. 1841 - (1841 & 1851 UK Census), to Thos. & Sarah PARKS/ES. At the time the family was living in "Freebodies" nr. the Dixon's Green/Kates Hill area of Dudley. I do not recall any place there named that back when I used to live there, where is it? Sometimes iDixon's Green is reckoned to be in RowleyRegis, also. Does anyone know which Parish it would fall into? St. John's was my family's church, do you feel that is where she may have been baptised? Any help would be appreciated. I cannot locate her in the FreeBMD or on ancestry.com, other than in the UK Census'. Many thanks, Marion
