    3. Hi Knola & Listers May I answer your question with another question? I think we all hit brickwalls fairly regularly, right? Has anyone heard of someone like Ancestry or Salt Lake offering a reputable & economical DNA analysis service? regards, Bob ----- Original Message ----- From: "knola jeffery" <keithandknola@xtra.co.nz> To: <ENG-BLACK-COUNTRY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, February 23, 2006 11:30 PM Subject: [B.C.] Brick wall > Dear listers, > > I wonder if someone can help me with my elusive Obadiah Asson (or could > be Aston, > but probably the former). > I'm reasonably sure that he was born in or near Tipton in 1801 - ish. > His baptism doesn't appear in the parish records for Tipton church, but > there's a high chance that he was non-conformist. > All the chapel records on the IGI don't go as far back as 1801, and I'm > not sure what the > alternatives are. 3. Hi Bob, I went through a company called FamilyTreeDNA. Their web-site is http://www.familytreedna.com/ Not only do they do DNA analysis, but also have surname projects & matching to a world-wide database. You can contact me off-list if you want more details. Regards from Malcolm. Member of Grigg DNA Project http://grigg.mygenerations.org/
