Hi, I am trying to find a relation John James born 1836 Pembrokeshire,he was a ship's carpenter, or canal boat builder. He was married to Sarah In the 1901 census he and Sarah are at Tipton Staffordshire and they seem to have been around Tipton for some time. I have been looking for his death in the Free BDM but wonder no Tipton How would that show up in the Indexes. Someone said that Tipton was in the Dudley area of Staffordshire. So in the deaths would that come up as died Dudley Stafforshire? I can't find him on the 1911 in Tipton anyway Another problem is his dau Margaret Bishop nee James born Walsall 1870. I can't find her on the 1911 census either. In the 1901 census she was living with her son James 6 at Dudley Worcester. James in 1911 is an Birkdale Reform School Liverpool but no sign of Margaret. I have also been looking for a remarriage for her and failing that a death. So would that show up in the indexes as Dudley Worcester?
