    3. Dear List In my search I have acquired a number of certificates which have turned out to relate to people who, although they share the Stanley surname and originate from Walsall, are not members of my branch of the family. Is there some sort of national or local clearing house for BMD certificates where these can be offered, or should I just chuck them away? Best wishes Graham

    3. Hi Graham Well it would seem that the first place to offer them would be on these lists, but there are specific websites for the purpose, such as BMD Exchange. 3. Graham If you go to FreeBMD and find the appropriate reference in the index, there's a facility to leave a 'postem' which you get to by clicking on the 'info' icon next to the name. You can post all the details there which you've gleaned from the certificate to help the next person who might come looking for that couple.
