Hi Everyone Looking for information on an Alfred J Stanyard. aka Jack. My father visited him during World War 11 Bearsdon by Glasgow. My grandfather visited him during World War 1 at Scotstounhill in 1917. he mentions that my father was playing with his grandaughter who he worked out rightly or wrongly to be 4th cousins once removed. My fathers grandmother was Emily Stanyard born Kinswindord Staffordshire 1855 as was her father John.about 1823. Obviously there is a family connection but for the life of me I can't work it out. In a letter Jack/Albert mentions his wife's name is Bessie. He mentions 2 daughters but I won't pass on names as they may still be living. Th eldest was abt 3 in 1917. Perhaps there is someone who has a connection or is better at working these relationships. Cheers Vicki NSW AUSi
