Hi All Don't know if any of you know that St James Church Lower Gornal is under threat of beening closed down in the near future due to lack of funds , Been told this today , it was very sad news and I was told that when the present vicar retires, there properly wont be a permanent vicar again only one that visits I know I have family buried in the graveyard there from when it was first built and I am sure Jane has has well has other list members from the Gornal area have also got family buried there Its so sad that we are losing so many of our beautiful churches , Cassy Assistant Admin Black Country Potteries, and Wolverhampton Lists
