Hi Listers Latest additions to the Sedgley Manor website are "Extracts from the Manor Court Rolls" at http://www.sedgleymanor.com/smr/ Manor court rolls (or books) detail the passing of land from one tenant to another, the surveys done (legal disputes over land were even more common then than now, and sometimes ended more bloodily), and the appointment of local officials, such as the reeve (an official elected annually to supervise lands for a lord - Shire-reeve = Sherrif.) These extrats are mostly from the 1500-1700s.
