    1. [Black Country] Paying in pounds from the U.S.

    3. Hi All, I am trying to order a will and it seems there is no chance of paying with a credit or debit card. They want a crossed check in pounds or an international money order. The post office here sells international money orders, but only for Canada and Mexico. Has anyone mastered this sort of thing? Not sure what to do. My bank cannot help. Frustrated, Lois in Michigan

    3. Lois, If you live near the Canadian border, go to a Canadian post office, in Windsor, Sarnia, Ontario and get a postal money order in English sterling. Canadian post offices sell money orders in Canadian, American and British money.     3. Oops! My mistake...going the other way......try Western Union. as there are Western Union Offices in the UK. So you might be able to your make purchase in UK pounds. Must have taken my stupid pill today rather than the smart pill <LOL>.
