    2. Hi Derek, I am trying to trace a female WORKMAN who was in the Queens Hospital in 1883 whose address was Baldwin Street, Six Ways. Does this address mean anything to you by any chance.     3. Hi: There are several places called Six Ways. There's at least 3 in Birmingham (try Google) one in Walsall, and this one http://blackcountryhistory.org/collections/getrecord/GB146_PHS_1970/ in Smethwick. Probably others too.     3. Rita Six Ways Smethwick was very near to Baldwin Street, just around the corner into Messenger Road. The area has now been totally redeveloped and bears little relationship to the days when Six Ways was a thriving hub of Smethwick life. If you look on an old map of the area, 1950s and before, this should illustrate how it was then. Hope this helps.
