Hi all,  Looking for the parents of Joseph SMITH born about 1819 in Wednesbury. He married a Annie RADCLIFFE in or about 1840 in Dudley. Annie was born  in Darlaston about 1821 and was the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (MASON) RATCLIFFE. Charles Radcliffe I have as being born about 1795 and his wife Elizabeth Mason I have as being born about 1795.   Joseph and Annie had the following children: Charles born about 1842, William born about 1844, Elizabeth born abt 1846, Joseph born abt 1848, Ann born abt 1850, John born abt 1854, George born about 1857, Emma....my great grandmother was born abt 1858 in Wednesbury. She later married a Henry James THOMPSON....the son of John and Martha (HUGHES) THOMPSON.  Samuel born about 1861, Martha born abt 1863 and Mary Jane.   I have found Joseph on a few of the later censuses living in Wednesbury but with so many SMITHS can't be certain how to find him before his marriage in 1840.   Do not know when he or Annie died but I believe he died before 1891 in Wednesbury.   I have also found my great grandmother Emma with her parents and while she was married on a few of the censuses but not for 1901 or later so I am assuming she must of past away before then. I believe my great grandfather Henry James THOMPSON died after the 1901 census because that is the last one I was able to find him on.   Any help with this family would be greatly appreciated. St Barthomew and St James are the parishes I have been able to find them living around.
