1. [Black Country] Fw: Fwd: WILL OF JONAH TIMMINS - Gornal Wood
2. Hi, I am reposting my email from August concerning the old Will and Bible belonging to the TIMMINS FAMILY of Lower Gornal. I have since looked up the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census and found the Timmins family living in Bird Street, Lower Gornal. The occupations of Alfred Timmins and other adults in the family were Miners, Chain Makers and Nail Makers. I would dearly like to reunite the Will and Bible with the Timmins family of Lower Gornal. Please get in touch if you have any connection. Many thanks, Lynn Yates - Mid Wales. ----Original Message---- From: lpy.llwyn@googlemail.com Date: 31/08/2011 10:56 To: "yates.lynn1947"<yates.lynn1947@tiscali.co.uk> Subj: Fwd: WILL OF JONAH TIMMINS - Gornal Wood ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Lynn Yates <lpy.llwyn@googlemail.com> Date: Sun, Aug 28, 2011 at 12:59 PM Subject: WILL OF JONAH TIMMINS - Gornal Wood To: Black Country Rootsweb <eng-black-country@rootsweb.com> Hi, Following the death of my elderly Mom recently, I have been clearing out her house in Wolverhampton and have come across an old handwritten Will and family Bible which I know do not relate to any of our side of the family but must have been left at her house by a gentleman friend who has also now died. If any of descendants of Jonah Timmins of Gornal Wood, died 1886, would like this Will and Bible I would be happy to pass them on. The Will is in excellent condition but the Bible is a little worse for wear. On reading the Will, it seems that Jonah had several children :- Sons, Alfred Timmins & John Timmins Daughters, Rosannah, Teresa, Sarah Jane, Martha and Harriot. I often travel to the West Midlands so it would be easy for me to meet up with who-ever claims them. Regards, Lynn Yates, Mid Wales.
