    3. Hi All Had a mesage off Lynn from Oldury and Langley Histroy Group About two year ago , they published a wonderful book on the men who died at Oldbury and Langley in the First World War , they really worked hard to do that and they did a great job , Now they are hoping to do a follow up and this is what Lynn sent me , I am hoping every one will put there thing caps on and remenber any tales that have been passed down from there families about the first World War Also I am sure every one on the list would love to hear them has well , has its our histroy and how our familes coped at that terrible time Cheers Cassy > > Although it is very much in its infancy we are researching for the follow > up book to the "Fallen of Oldbury, Langley & Warley 1914-18" which > concentrates on how Oldbury coped on the home front while the men were off > fighting. We are looking at peoples memories, documents, books, > photographs, artifacts in fact anything relating to wartime such as > defence, home guard, rationing, evacuation, war work etc. If anyone can > help with this project I would be pleased to hear from them.
